Dance

IMG_4259There is nothing better, more freeing of mood, lifting, or fun, than to move to the music and
dance.  It’s great for the soul, and amazing for fitness, flexibility and strength.

Once you’ve found it, dance is a passion for life.  The combination of music and dance is a great healer.

I qualified as a teacher of Ballet and Modern Dance with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance many moons ago, and then went on to further study in Contemporary Dance forms in London and New York.  Over time Musical Theatre Dance, Tap, various historic popular dance genres, Flamenco and even Balinese Dance have been added to my repertoire.

Through the years I have danced, studied, taught, performed and choreographed in classes, workshops, cabaret, theatre, exhibitions, television and video.  More recently I’ve worked with the KFA with the more mature moving body.

I am always available to teach and choreograph, or run workshops with technical, creative, psychological, expressive or cathartic themes.

For the pure fun of it I teach a class every Tuesday in Hampshire using great music soundtracks and mixing up dance styles.

Come on and get moving……
